me!!!! a valley girl?

i was sitting in the car today with my mom and sister and i noticed my shirt was changing color on one of the sides so i said something about it. big mistake. they both went into this rant about how i care too much about this stuff and my lovely sister made a comment along the lines of "your acting like such a valley girl." for all of you who don't know what a valley girl is, let me fill you in. it's basically a stereotype. its a rip off of the barbie idea. there was a song that started the whole nickname. here's part of the caricature that some of this screwed up world calls a song.

their nicknames are Vals. i am not a Val.I DO NOT TALK LIKE THAT! obviously my family sees me as a total ditz. oh, and my sister says i say like too much in here (even though i don't know why she reads this...) so i won't way it anymore unless i have to. thats only if i have to express my comparisons with like. i'm going to mull over this valley girl theory.
